Adam Nixon is Charlie & August's 5×-great-grandfather (via Edward Nixon b.1848 Onehunga → Catherine Tracey → Joseph Barlow... wait — actually via: Adam Nixon → Edward NIXON (b.1848 Onehunga) → Edward becomes Gen 5 in Charlie's tree via Kevin/Yvonne Barlow). Add to wikitree-additions. UPGRADED 2026-05-30: now corroborated by the published Royal NZ Fencibles roster (entry #555), not just a message-board post. Confidence solid. Note possible relative James Nixon (roster #556, SGS, 20th Foot) — investigate if a brother.
